Paediatric dentist

The paediatric dentist, having completed the bachelor of dental surgery, has specialised with at least three years of further training on the management of children, young adolescents as well as children with special needs. The aim of the paediatric dentist is to provide high quality dental treatment to our young patients without fear or anxiety.

The areas of expertise are prevention, management of dental caries, trauma and dental anomalies as well as interceptive orthodontics. Dental treatment under general anaesthesia is also provided by the especially trained and experienced paediatric dentists.

Oral and maxillofacial surgeon

The oral and maxillofacial surgeon, having completed their studies at the Medical and Dental School, has specialised with at least five years of further education in a hospital environment. The aim of the specialist is to treat diseases, injuries and defects of the face, jaws and oral cavity.
